When you think of solutions for lightening your dark knees you will most probably think of a cream or even a surgery, but, believe it or not, the simplest and most satisfactory remedy is lying around in your kitchen. Items as simple as potatoes, lemons, baking soda, vinegar, etc. can help you get rid of that darkness on your knees and help you bring them back to their natural color.

  • Make sure that you have fresh fruit or vegetable

The vegetables or fruits that you use for home remedies for skin whitening should be of the freshest quality, because if they are not used when fresh, the results may not turn out as you expect them to. Applying something close to being rotten might just end up having an adverse effect too.

  • Be consistent and committed to your goal

When using natural products to lighten your knees, you will have to rub or apply them on your knees for anything from twice a day to thrice a week. You should remember that this is not a quick solution to your issue; you need to be patient and give it the time it needs to work its magic.

  • Do not use anything you are allergic to

This goes without saying, but you should do a basic skin test to ensure that the products you are using do not cause an allergic reaction on your body. You don’t want to lighten your knees at the cost of your health!
